Sockeye Salmon Hitchhiker

From: (rmlay@mindspring.com) | Date: 2002-07-02 10:54:47 UTC-04:00
Hey Everyone--
I have a request:
Somehow, my Sockeye Salmon Hitchhiker has been separated into two pieces--the
logbook went one place, and the stamp went another. I heard that someone
created a makeshift logbook for the stamp, but I'd really like to have the
originals back together! Amanda (The Paisley Orca) was nice enough to send
the original logbook to my father on the west coast because we thought the
stamp was hiding in Bridle Trails, Washington. But we don't think it's there
anymore because the box has reportedly been visited a few times since the
stamp was seen there. SO, if anyone knows where the Sockeye stamp is right
now, please let me know so I can put my Hithchiker back together!
Thanks :)

I was at the Bridle Trails box on June 20th... no hitchiker at that time...
the Bridle Trails Park Ranger was the last to visit the box (before me).

I would be happy to double check the BTSP box and see if the salmon
was there and on what day. Perhaps there is a name before and after
you can connect to. I visited on June 23 and the woman who placed
the box was there that day too. Only the official stamp present.
I pass by there on my way to and from work every day.

I visited the BTSP box.  "Wanda and Dale" from Charlestown RI dropped off the Salmon Hitchhiker and the next visit was by "The Thompson's ;Dad Mom Elsa and Morgan"  from Renton WA.  I believe Mischief was next then the ranger and I and another group.  So I wonder if the Thompson's can be found and see if they have a fish flopping around someplace.

Yes, we were the ones who found the Sockeye Salmon hitcher, all alone
in its bag without a logbook, on May 27th at Snoqualmie Falls #3, and
left it the next day with a little temporary logbook at Bridle Trails
near Seattle. Hope its well on its way by now!!!
